That's totally normal! You don't know what you don't know, right? That's why taking a Birth Class, Breastfeeding Class and Newborn Care Class is so important.
We offer in-person classes in beautiful downtown Lakeland, FL at Cohatch. Click the Register Now button to sign up. Class size is limited and pre-registration with payment is required to attend. The deadline to sign up is 1 week prior to class. If you miss the deadline to register please contact us at [email protected] to see if we are able to accommodate you for the class. We do not accept walk-ins.

Our classes are evidence based and interactive. We typically have small class sizes with no more than 6 couples in a class at one time and we teach using modern materials from Birth Boot Camp. Our in-person classes are the most popular choice with our clients.

Short on time but still want a quality childbirth class? Our Express Birth Class is designed for busy couples who need the basics without the lengthy commitment. This class provides a concise yet thorough overview of what to expect during labor and birth.
By the end of the class, you’ll feel better prepared to approach your birth experience with calm confidence.

This class is 7 hours and offered in a 1-day workshop format OR 2 half days consecutive weeks.

Planning a hospital birth but looking for more than a typical class? Our Hospital Birth Class is designed with you in mind. Tailored for hospital births, this course is a deeper dive than our Express Class and equips you with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions every step of the way.
Topics include:
Induction options and hospital policies
Natural labor techniques
Birth plans
Understanding epidurals and pain management choices
The stages of labor and what to expect
Comfort measures to ease labor
Partner support techniques for a team-based approach
This class is 15 hours and is broken up into three 5-hour sessions or six 2.5 hours sessions. It is offered on an as needed basis. Please submit the request form below if you are interested in us getting this class on the schedule for you.
Breastfeeding Class
Welcoming a new baby is a life-changing experience filled with joy, challenges, and questions. This 4-hour class will guide you into parenthood offering practical tools and strategies for a smooth transition into parenthood. Our goal is to help you not only survive but truly enjoy these early days with your little one! The BONUS breastfeeding class is online and can be watched at your convenience!

Planning a home or birth center birth? Our Home & Birth Center Class is for you! With only 2% of births happening out of the hospital, you need specific preparation. Tailored for out-of-hospital births, this course is a deeper dive than our Express Class.
