This is a wonderful option for those not local to us. Virtual care does not include hands-on support, however, we will cover, discuss and show you much of the same information and techniques to ensure you feel confident and empowered.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Janet
Janet is the owner of Bellies-2-Babies LLC and is a seasoned childbirth professional with over 30 years of experience. She has supported families in hospital, birth center and home birth settings and draws on decades of hands-on
experience and training to provide meaningful support to each family.
Janet is a certified Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, Doula Trainer and Sleep Consultant-in-training. She is passionate about equipping families with the tools and confidence they need to embrace this life-changing season with confidence and excitement.
As a wife, mother, and Gran to 11, she brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to her work, making her a compassionate and empowering presence for every family she supports. Whether in-person or virtually, Janet is committed to helping families feel informed, confident, and nurtured during their birth journey. Her mission is to help families embrace the transformative journey of childbirth while ensuring they feel truly seen and supported.
In addition to supporting families Janet is passionate about encouraging aspiring Doulas and serves as a Birth Doula Trainer with Birth Boot Camp and a mentor to local doulas. Janet is currently expanding her knowledge in the field of sleep consulting so she can further help families find a healthy sleep rhythm personalized to their needs.
When she's not working with families, you’ll find her spending time with her own family usually outdoors, in the water or at a theme park. Family time is her favorite time.
Birth doula
Jayde
Jayde is a devoted wife, loving mother of two, and Certified Birth Doula based in Central Florida. Her childbirth experience included two unmedicated hospital births and was supported by a birth doula during her first birth while
her husband was deployed. Thankfully he was able to join her via facetime to celebrate the joyous occasion.
Driven by her passion for creating safe and empowering birth experiences, Jayde tailors her support to meet the unique needs of every family. Whether you’re planning a hospital birth, birth center delivery, or homebirth, she is
committed to ensuring that every birthing person feels seen, supported, and confident. Jayde firmly believes that every mother deserves a doula and every baby deserves a peaceful and joyful welcome into the world.
Currently pursuing certification as a Postpartum Doula, Jayde is excited to expand her services and further support local families during this
transformative time. She would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey to parenthood, providing the care and encouragement you deserve.
Birth doula
Coni
Coni is a loving wife, mom to three, and Certified Birth Doula with a deeply personal connection to the world of childbirth. Her passion for birth began at an early age, inspired by her mom’s work as a childbirth educator. Coni’s journey into motherhood started at 17 with an unmedicated birth at a birthing center—a transformative experience that empowered her and ignited her desire to learn and share the truths about birth.
She later returned to the same birthing center for her next two children, cherishing the supportive environment it provided. In 2024, Coni experienced a new chapter in her birth journey going through IVF as a surrogate, welcoming 'Belly Buddy' into the world through her first hospital birth. These varied experiences have shaped Coni’s understanding of the importance of mindset, a strong support system, and education during the birthing process.
Coni is passionate about helping others feel informed, empowered, and confident as they bring their little ones into the world. She believes that every family deserves a positive and supported birth experience and would be honored to support you during this incredible journey.
The Doulas and Educators collaborating with Bellies-2-Babies are independent contractors, each bringing their own certified expertise in their specific areas. Rest assured, they have undergone a thorough personal screening by Janet to ensure they meet our high standards of care and professionalism. This approach allows us to offer you a diverse range of skilled Doulas and Educators who are committed to providing exceptional support to your family.
Doula Services & Classes
We are located in central Florida and offer Doula Services and Childbirth Classes both in-person and virtually to meet your needs. In-person Doula support is available in Lakeland, FL and across Polk County and select areas of Hillsborough, Highlands, and Osceola Counties.
